Expose yourself the No Fuss way

Today (Thursday 02 February), Outdoor Capital of the UK based No Fuss Events, the team behind the popular POC Scottish Enduro Series and  a progressive calendar of mountain bike and outdoor adventure events across Scotland, launched the latest strand to their innovative marketing campaign for 2017, the first completely wrapped mountain gondola at Nevis Range Mountain Experience, Fort William.

Unveiling their custom branded Gondola,   Frazer Coupland, Partner at No Fuss Events, said:

“Nevis Range operates Britain’s only mountain gondola system which opened in 1989. It attracts over 180 thousand visitors annually. What better way to expose our brand?”

The gondola transports visitors from the Base Station at 91m (300ft) to the Top Station at 650m (2150ft) on Aonach Mor, beside Ben Nevis.  The Gondolas run every day (wind and weather permitting), rotating on a continuous cycle. The journey takes just under 15 minutes and is suitable for all age groups and most wheelchair users.

Peter MacFarlane, Managing Director, Nevis Range, said:

“We’ve been working alongside No Fuss Events since they first started out in 2005, so it’s fitting they’re first to sign up to totally wrap a Gondola.  We love their quirky design and can’t wait to see the No Fuss Gondola out on the hill!”

Visitors to the Nevis Range include snowsport enthusiasts, mountain bikers, walkers and climbers, as well as a huge number of visitors who just appreciate the outdoors.  The venue also hosts UK and international sports events, including the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup, bringing 20,000 spectators annually to the region.

David (Spook) Munro, Partner at No Fuss Events, added:

“We like to do stuff first, it’s fun, it looks great, and for us we hope it will bring folk back.”

Chris O’Brien, Destination Manager – Outdoor Capital of the UK, said:

“It’s fantastic to see two key Outdoor Capital businesses working in partnership to bring more adventurers to the area.

“No Fuss consistently run top class events that attract people in their thousands. The exposure that Outdoor Capital continues to enjoy as a result of their efforts benefits all of the Lochaber population and we are proud to support them in any way we can.”
