One Lochaber Leadership Programme to be launched at Lochaber Ideas Week

A specially structured series of seminars and one-to-one workshops form Lochaber Chamber of Commerce to be launched at Lochaber Ideas Week 2019.  Set and achieve challenging strategic goals, take decisive action at pace, out-perform the competition and create an environment that inspires elite achievement.

The first cohort of business leaders who have signed up to Lochaber Chamber of Commerce’s innovative new One Lochaber Leadership Development Programme will officially begin their tailor-made year-long training course during Lochaber Ideas Week, with the inaugural training day taking place on Wednesday 20 November 2019 at the Moorings Hotel, Fort William.

As a special Lochaber Ideas Week offer, Lochaber Chamber of Commerce is extending their invite to the afternoon session of this first training event to all local business leaders.  Delegates will find out how to thrive in an uncertain business world with an interactive ‘VUCA Workshop’ – Volatile; Uncertain; Complex and Ambiguous – delivered by expert management trainers, Ethos Consulting.

Frazer Coupland, CEO of Lochaber Chamber of Commerce, said: “We live in a world of fast change and information overload. To thrive companies must continuously adapt their products and services.  But how can you prepare for a future you can’t predict?

“I strongly suggest that all Lochaber business leaders sign up to our interactive ‘VUCA’ workshop from our expert trainers at Ethos Consulting.  As a delegate you will be given the tools to navigate this new business world; and find out a lot about yourself and your business in the process!  It is also fantastic value at only £30?

“We hope that the business leaders who do sign up will then be inspired to join our One Lochaber Leadership Programme for the rest of the year.”

One Lochaber, an innovative leadership development programme, has been specifically designed and developed by Lochaber Chamber of Commerce to fully equip local business leaders with the capability to develop their teams to meet the challenges of an uncertain future. Participants will be taken through a specially structured series of seminars and one-to-one workshops, developing their capacity to set and achieve challenging strategic goals, take decisive action at pace, out-perform the competition and create an environment that inspires elite achievement.

This exciting new programme, delivered by expert management trainers, Ethos Consulting, will lead to an accredited leadership qualification from the Chartered Institute of Management (CMI), a Level 5 Award in Leadership and Management; plus credits towards the CMI’s Chartered Manager Award.
