Scott Gibson presents his Sunday Sessions at Gilded Balloon’s Basement

The bald, beefy and bearded award-winning Glaswegian comedian, Scott Gibson, invites Edinburgh audiences to join him at his Sunday Sessions at The Gilded Balloon’s Basement Theatre, Rose Street, Edinburgh on Sunday 25 February 2018 at 20.00, for two hours of stand up, music, slam-style poetry and comedy storytelling entertainment; the perfect way to end the week and end the month.

As host of the Sunday Sessions, staged on the last Sunday of the month, the naturally skillful and riveting raconteur works the room like a champion, introducing a top-class line-up of personally hand-picked singers, musicians, poets, storytellers and comedians. It’s the perfect opportunity to see the wealth of entertainment talent plying their trade in Scotland, whilst introducing audiences to art forms they may not be familiar with.

The lineup on Sunday 25 February includes:

Gareth Mutch (Comedian) – A rising star of Scottish Comedy – ‘Storming performance’ – The Skinny. ‘Must see show’ – The Daily Record

Chris McQueer (Writer/Storyteller) – Chris McQueer has caught folks’ imagination with his stories, had rooms howling with laughter on the spoken word circuit, and now it’s time to put Chris McQueer on the page at Sunday Sessions.

The 20-something’s short stories, from the streets of working-class Scotland and on occasion, a little beyond our solar system, put surreal and witty twists on the every day together with recognisable characters you will love and want to avoid like the plague.

Ross Ferguson (Musician) – Ross Ferguson is a professional vocalist, guitarist and songwriter with over 15 years of music industry experience. He has performed as a soloist at some of the most notable venues in the UK and Europe including Glasgow Barrowlands, Festival Theatre Edinburgh and Gatecrasher Nightclub Ibiza.

Loud Poets (Slam-style poetry for the masses) – Launched in 2014 and now an Edinburgh institution, Loud Poets are a collective of poets, writers, musicians and artists with the aim of making poetry something that could be enjoyed by the masses. They provide audiences with slam-style, make some noise, fistthumping, pint-drinking, side-tickling, heartwrenching poetry.

Grab your tickets now and the welcoming Gilded Balloon staff will see you for Scott Gibson’s Sunday Sessions.
